About This Project:
| Objective: | To create a space that flowed well with the rest of the house. To open it up so it was not as closed off. It is the first space you see when entering this home so it had to have Wow factor | | Challenges: | A bulk head had to be put around the perimeter of the room. this cause a few challenges with the built ins but we used to our advantage and added recessed lighting throughout the bulk head and this creates drama | | Results: | Love the results of this room! because we opened the wall between the entry and the dining room it did two things 1: brought more light into entry are 2: also were able to give a little more space to it . The colour scheme is very warm and welcoming to guests as they arrive and the fireplace adds that extra drama. You can see the beautiful room from the driveway with the fire roaring, the stunning chandelier and beautiful lighting. |
