The two story Gothic Revival home was built in 1870 and is one of the oldest structures remaining in a historical neighborhood. The home was to be razed by the city until a young couple purchased it at auction & relocated it to a new building site and completely renovated the home. The renovation included a new kitchen and powder room and restoration and redecoration of all other areas of the home to create a fresh new look for the new owners. |

About This Project:
| Objective: | To keep historical presence of the home, all interior details were salvaged including original moulding, millwork, and flooring. | | Challenges: | House had been neglected and abandoned which required major clean up before the remodel could begin. All new mechanical system was installed. | | Results: | The local Historical Society is so pleased with the home's new/old look it will be featured annually on the historical home tour. |
