The Master Bathroom is part of a remodeled accessible Master Suite. The rooms flow easily from Family Room to Master Suite, which includes Master Bathroom, with wide doorways and halls, threshold free openings, doorless and curbless shower, automated and sensor fixtures. Easy access Toilet is automated to open and close, has an heated seat, cleans, dries and automatically flushes. Shampoo sink is accessible by a wheelchair from front to wash hands and when wheelchair reclines for shampooing hair. Curbless and doorless shower has a one-touch, preprogrammable shower system which is programmable for each individuals showering needs, and adjustable shower bars.
Master Suite grades gently from interior rooms to garage to access vehicle while in wheelchair and to exterior.

About This Project:
| Objective: | To design a Master Suite that is beautiful, accessible and sustainable without looking institutional for a client with limited mobility that would be confined to a wheelchair to share with her tall able bodied husband. | | Challenges: | Designing the "suite" without thresholds, steps or ramps, although the existing was on different levels. | | Results: | Achieved. |
