About This Project:
| Objective: | The objective for this living room was to create a space that was sophisticated and provided a great space for entertaining and lounging. | | Challenges: | This room will serve as a multi purpose room, a space for TV viewing, reading, entertaining guests, dining area and requires ample storage and multi purpose furniture to really make the space a multi functional. | | Results: | By using low maintenance fabrics such as the ultrasuede on the sofa and ottomans, and leather on the lounge chairs, the upholstery pieces can withstand lots of cocktail parties since the materials can easily be wiped down should an accident happen.
By incoprporating a large ottoman as a cocktail table, there is ample space for guest to place their beverages or where appetizers can be laid out. Its also a great surface to kick up your feet and enjoy a movie.
The lounge chairs and nesting side tables create a cozy area where one could read a book and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. And the storage ottomans are a functional piece for seating and storage for extra pillows or throws. |
