About This Project:

Objective:The homeowner requested a peaceful, zen-like retreat to come home to after a long day at work.
Challenges:Previous owners had combined two units leaving an unsightly column dead-center, which delineated the living room from the dining area. The owner requested that something be done to hide the column. It was cleverly concealed with an anigre veneer, and a built-in cabinet connecting the column to the wall. The cabinet houses on pop-up television on the living room side, and a buffet and storage on the dining room side.
Results:Mutli-functional living in a serene environment.

Wow, gorgeous. Really beautiful wood for the built-in column unit. I am just tempted to warm it up with an area rug in the living room and dining room! But both rooms are definitely a big "wow."
