She moved to the United States in 1989 but presently divides her time between Los Angeles and London.
Trained in The Professional Interior Design Program at UCLA in Los Angeles, Alexandra studied The Ecology of Design with some of the foremost practicing architects of sustainable design in California. She has worked for CLIFTON INTERIORS in Primrose Hill in London and now works as a freelance eco interior design consultant. She is also a keen gardener and can lend her space planning and knowledge of plants to an eco garden design.
In the United States, Alexandra has been seen on HGTV as a guest designer on OUTER SPACES (Screen Door Entertainment) and SMALL SPACES, BIG STYLE (Brain Box Entertainment). She is also familiar to ten million Southern Californian Ralph's shoppers who have seen her at their checkout video screens as the Feng Shui expert on WHAT'S NEW WITH NELSON.
In the UK, Alexandra is featured as an eco interior designer among a group of "greenies" gathered together by the supermarket chain, TESCO, for their September 2007 issue of Tesco Magazine. She has given green interior deign tips to Good Housekeeping magazine in the US and Editing Matters in the UK.
For many years Alexandra has made her living as an actress. In addition to many theatre roles, her movie credits include James Cameron's TITANIC and MR. HOLLAND'S OPUS and most recently FROM PARIS WITH LOVE, the action movie starring John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. She is also known to many British TV fans as CLARISSA MASON on the primetime soap, CORONATION STREET.

Alexandra believes that her interest and experience in film and theatre has heightened her awareness and appreciation of how interiors inform and shape our everyday life.
She is very excited about the new innovations and attitudes towards protecting the environment in her home country, but often finds design clients think it is too hard or too expensive to remodel their house, or change their lifestyle a little, to help save money, improve their health and ultimately, the planet.
She understands that you don't have to live off the grid in a straw bail house in the middle of a field with a compost toilet to care about the environment. Alexandra likes to prove that you don't have to be extremely rich or slightly strange to be green!
Alexandra writes a regular blog that she updates with new and innovate ideas in the sustainable design and lifestyle world.
