I have a BA in History of Art from Ohio State University '98. I have worked as a music buyer for retail record stores for many years and then moved to Chicago.
Once in Chicago I worked with designer Mitchell Pennell for several years as a design apprentice then business partner working with floral and events, product design and development, showroom design and residential. I later moved on to work for Hosley Int. designing and sourcing accessories for the home in China. My product designs have been sold all over North America in small shops to big box retail outlets.
I reached a point where I wanted to make a change and decided to go back to school for an Interior Design degree. I am currently attending Harrington College of Design where I earned an Associate of Applied Science degree with Highest Honors in April 2009. I am now working on a BFA in Interior Design with a specification in green design as well as historical preservation. I currently work in the school atelier.
I am looking for employment in the design field and I am willing to relocate to warmer climates, I'd love to go west.
I enjoy cooking, baking, knitting, sewing, biking, bargain hunting and travel. |
