What is the importance of the museum when you have art?
It’s the showcase that sets up the interior atmosphere for the experience of the space, it can make you feel warm, cold, reflective, talkative, happy, and introspective ………..
Even the most luxuriously designed house, should feel like home and be comfortably furnished around your passions and desires, never conflicting with the owners personalities and lifestyle. The mood invoked by a designed room should be seductive and strong, creating the desire to remain.
The perceived value we add as interior designers starts from the very first interaction where we promote our services and explain their importance. Most people recognize they need professional help, although in some cases, only after they have made a few mistakes on their own, or have left it too late to prevent project mistakes that are still repairable most of the times, but will add significantly to the project costs. They would have been avoidable if the interior designer had been contacted from the beginning.
In our trade you see a lot of different levels of work and a lot of different styles. There's minimalistic designs, contemporary, traditional, fun etc. But, every once in a while you step in to a space that is magical and intriguing and you can’t take your eyes away, if you take the time to really look and feel, after a while you start perceiving not only the beauty of the space, but understanding what the Designer created that makes you feel you are in a special place.
This incorporated fascination of an interior, is the value of a good designer.
