We are all intuitively drawn to beauty and we react to our surroundings on a subconscious level. Much like music affects our mood, the instruments of design: color, texture, scale, and proportion, all affect our sense of well-being. And although what is beautiful to one is not always beautiful to another, there are rules that govern what most people consider beautiful. Scale, proportion, harmony, balance, unity are all essential to a beautiful room, no matter the style of that room. Sometimes these rules can and should be broken but it takes a trained, artistic eye to know when that works!
My clients want their homes to reflect their taste and meet their needs. Often, they know what feeling they want in a room but not how to create it. This is where I come in. Design is a process, a relationship that develops between client and designer. In this process, I learn about my clients and my clients learn about themselves and what makes them feel nurtured in a space.
I am passionate that we should all live in homes that feed our souls and enable us to be our best selves. Good design accomplishes that. My interiors are best described as classic, timeless, relaxed, inviting and livable. I have specialized in residential interiors since 2004 and take pride in listening to my clients and delivering more than expected. |

The window treatments look unique and I love how they accentuate the window instead of covering it up. The mountain house is fantastic too. The choice of fabric for the drapes goes perfectly with the leather funiture and wildlife theme. The master bedroom looks very comfortable and cozy. I like the window treatments and the color of the walls. It looks very well put together. | | Send Message |
