Thank you for choosing Heather Elizabeth Designs, LLC for your room review. A couple of things that would be helpful is for me to know why you are requesting a room review. Are you wanting to replace the furniture, paint color & art, or just wanting a general review of your space?
Also, I did not get a photo looking straight into the room (showing the full wall directly across from sofa or the window wall. From what I can tell there are two chairs across from the sofa, but I don't know what's on that wall or if there's a table in the middle, etc. I also cannot see the full window wall. This tells me your main concern is the furniture pieces themselves.
It looks like you have nice quality furnishings in your space, but a bit dated. I think that you could use some changes to bring your room more up to date. This could be done by replacing the sofa, adding a throw pillow to each chair, and updating your art & drapery material. An easier fix could be accomplished by just re framing your existing art to something more simple & less formal, updating the sofa pillows. I would definitely suggest a taller pair of lamps to help fill the negative space in your room and add an area rug to tie together all existing pieces!
