Thank you for your room review request! First of all I love the fun safari theme of your living room and bedroom!! It looks like you are playing around with some different furniture arrangements to make your space the most function able, and with just a little guidance, we can help make your space complete.
First you need to decide what the purpose of the space is. There are some pictures with a sofa and chair, and then another one with just a dining table. I'm going to assume the main function is for entertaining since the picture with the TV, sofa, and rug look the most recent.
You have done a nice job balancing the white and black color theme, but you are right in wanting to paint the fireplace wall. Right now the striped wallpaper is grabbing my attention, but takes away from the fireplace. Pull a wall color from the stone border of the fireplace to create a harmonious space. I would even suggest continuing the wall color on adjacent walls to add nice contrast. Since you are limited to window treatments, splashing color on the walls will really make the white windows pop!
With proper space planning and furniture arrangement, you can divide the kitchen from the living room. You could use a room divider screen to separate the spaces, but I would suggest keeping it more light and airy, and divide the areas with a simple furniture arrangement.
Your furniture works for the theme of the space, but you might find it an advantage to replace the sofa with one that has better scale and proportion to the space. The over sized rolled arms take up a lot of valuable space.
