Thanks so much for requesting a room review, it looks like you could have a fun time trying to recreate your spaces to fit the mold of Indiana Jones and the Biltmore Library. For the purpose of review I will treat the individual room as one space, based on your photos and floorplan it appears as one large area.
My first observation is in regards to a lack of balance within your space, as each area feels unrelated to the other and you have alot of visual clutter. This takes away from any emphasis of focal point and interest in the rooms. We need to declutter your art, accessories and group them so you have harmony and a natural rhythm within the rooms. The next item of concern is the imbalance of color and a lack of harmony with the patterns, shapes and proportions of elements in the space.
Your idea of putting a library wall system on the patio door wall is good, but I would be careful about the styles you are choosing. I looked at the SmartFurniture site and I did not see anything that would relate to the design style that you have mentioned. I would suggest that you take advantage of Ava Living's Designer Advice service. It will give you a road map and good information, so that you may achieve the kind of results you are looking for without wasting alot of time or money. It is a very modestly priced service, so just look at the end of this review for further info.
