Well, now it’s Christmas – which in my house is our favorite day of the year. I thought I would show you the decor in my living room this year. It changes every year and I always collaborate with my daughters. They have their own design sensibility and we merge the things we like. Some years, it’s all their design! This year we went with a gold and silver color scheme (which was our favorite last year too) with minimal red touches. I had some sparkly white branches that I bundled together with some gold branches for a twiggy arch above the mantel.

 We also pulled out our vintage ornaments and glass domes to build a snowy winter landscape on our coffee table. The Christmas tree pictures didn’t turn out this time but we’ll make sure to include them next year.

We also extended the snowy landscape to the mantel with one of my favorite sleigh ride pieces joined with a winter fairy.
