Mona Hajj referenced a wide range of historical periods and decorating styles to create the chic American Red Cross Designer Show House living room.

The essence of Mona Hajj’s living room design is comfort and elegance with an understated feel to accommodate the busy and well-traveled cosmopolitan family.

The long room allows for three intimate seating areas that could easily be used as one large gathering room for entertaining. The fireplace paired with two modern chaises invites conversation while the mix of antique and comfortable upholstered pieces outlining the room allow for family members or guests to sit back and relax.

Born in Africa, educated in Europe, Lebanon, and the United States, Hajj brings a unique combination of European, Mediterranean and American style and sensibility to her projects.
