
The American Red Cross Designers’ Show House is at the Providencia House,
a historic 1936 luxury home at 1125 North Flagler Drive in the heart of
West Palm Beach’s Providencia Park neighborhood.
The American Red Cross Designers’ Show House in West Palm Beach’s Providencia House at 1125 North Flagler Drive opened to the public on January 15th and runs through Valentine’s Day. The Show House features inspired designs by both locally- and nationally-renowned designers and includes an exclusive guest appearance and lecture by Honorary Chair and internationally-celebrated interior decorator, Charlotte Moss.

“The designers participating this year are a fantastic showcase of both local and national talent and we have been extremely fortunate to have acquired such an outstanding group,” said Desmond Keogh, General Chairman of the Red Cross Designers’ Show House. “Our designers and volunteers always donate a tremendous amount of their time and energy to support the local American Red Cross.”

Christopher Dunstan of Dunstan Designs - Outside Pool Area
With more than ten years experience in commercial and residential landscape design and installation, Christopher Dunstan, president of Dunstan Designs, LLC, is a Jupiter native well-versed in sunny South Florida’s lush landscape. Dunstan is a regular contributor to the Palm Beach Post and several of his installations have been featured in area garden tours and on HGTV.
He is an involved member of the greater Palm Beach community, serving on the steering committee for Young Friends of the Norton Museum of Art and contributing regularly to organizations such as Rosarian Academy, American Cancer Society, Junior League of the Palm Beaches, West Palm 100, Gentlemen of the Gardens, the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and other nonprofits.
Lisa Erdmann of Lisa Erdmann & Associates - Master Sitting Room
Lisa Erdmann, President of Lisa Erdmann & Associates, has been recognized regionally and nationally for her beautiful interiors that are known for their interesting antiques and luxurious textiles.
Lisa Erdmann & Associates’ projects have appeared in several issues and on the cover of Florida Design, and numerous other publications such as Veranda, Southern Accents, Palm Beach Cottages and Gardens, Florida Design’s ‘Palm Beach’, Better Homes and Gardens, Tropical Homes, Grandeur, The Palm Beach Post, Palm Beach Daily News, including two hardcover design books. Currents projects range from Fisher Island, to Palm Beach, to the Hamptons.
Joseph Fava of Fava Design Group - Powder Room
As creator and owner, Joseph Cook Fava has invested both heart and soul into the Fava Design Group, LLC. Fava found his calling at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he graduated at the top of his class with a degree in Interior Design. He then went on to become a licensed Interior Designer by the state of Florida and a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Building a solid reputation over the years with projects throughout Florida and the Bahamas, Fava has acquired a sophisticated, discerning and loyal clientele.
Jack Fhillips of Jack Fhilips Design, Inc. - Dining Room
Since opening his eponymous firm sixteen years ago, Jack Fhillips has combined suitability and style to provide wonderful living environments for many clients with projects throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Fhillip's style concepts have been acquired and refined over many years of exposure to both contemporary and antique furnishings, combined with a varied exposure of art and artifacts.

Jennifer Garrigues - Upstairs Terrace
Jennifer Garrigues always had an eye for style and an intuitive sense of design. Her days as a high fashion model introduced her to a world of sinuous shapes and sumptuous design. Drawing from this glamour, and with a love of architecture and interiors, Garrigues attended the New York School of Interior Design.
From her first projects, the Carlyle Hotel in New York, where she designed suites for her clients to the Palm Beach Polo and Country Club, where she created a villa for HRH Prince Charles, Garrigues made her mark in the industry. Garrigues, an active member of ASID and IIDA, is known for her creative exuberance and a style that melds elegance with comfort. Today her clients list covers the world, from CEO’s in the United States to their counterparts abroad.

Mona Hajj Interiors masters an artful expression in the time honored traditions of design and the decorative arts, reflecting a wide range of historical periods and decorating styles. Since its establishment in 1990 by Hajj, the firm has been creating elegant, worldly interiors.
Born in Africa, educated in Europe, Lebanon, and the United States, Hajj brings a unique combination of European, Mediterranean and American style and sensibility to her projects. Her work on national and international projects has been published in numerous magazines and has received much recognition.

Joseph Cortes
Following a successful 20-year career in his native New York City, where he worked for several prestigious design/build firms, Joseph Cortes, ASID, continues his success in South Florida. His portfolio includes hundreds of high-end projects for Fortune 500 companies and even fashion designers. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Pratt Institute in New York.
Kevin Marnell
Kevin Marnell brings his expertise in construction and renovation to the firm. Also born and raised in New York City, he spent 25 years working for a Fortune 500 company in Facility Management, during which he oversaw the renovation of one of the city’s premier landmark buildings. He is a graduate of Queens College in New York.

Michael Maniscalco
A native to Palm Beach County, Michael Maniscalco attended The Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. His professional experience includes Fortune 1000 companies in the financial, telecommunications and healthcare industries. He made the transition to the home automation industry in 2003, working with a well-recognized traditional home electronics installation company. Later, he made the decision to co-found InvoStar to address the industry-wide shortcomings that he witnessed.
Stuart Rench
Stuart began his career working in Research and Development for home networking technologies with Bell South while completing his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech. After living and working overseas for a large multinational firm, Stuart saw the technologies from his days in R&D begin working their way to the market. He realized that the majority of the existing companies in the market did not know how to deal with this radical shift in technology. Thus, InvoStar was born out of the idea that home electronic systems could be simplified using proper engineering and application of technology.
Cristina Keogh of Cristina Keogh Interiors Inc. - Master Bedroom
Cristina Keogh is an interior designer working in the Palm Beach area with 17 years of experience. She developed her style at Smith Interior Design Group of renowned architect Jeffrey Smith in Palm Beach, designing homes for the most sophisticated clients in Palm Beach, Jupiter Island, Manhattan and South Hampton.
Known for a classic style with a young fresh look, her work demonstrates beauty and luxury complementing her clients’ overall lifestyle. Chad Renfro, principle of Chad Renfro Design which he established in July 2003, is noted for his expert use of color, texture and finishes that ensure a fresh and original design for his clients. Starting with the architecture and using its spaces and lines, Renfro is able to continually and successfully develop interiors based on his clients interests, lifestyle and budget.
Renfro has been featured in Palm Beach Cottages & Gardens, Palm Beach Daily News and The Palm Beach Post. Drawn from the success of projects in the Palm Beach market, Chad Renfro Design is currently expanding his reach to include projects in Manhattan, The Hamptons, the West Coast of Florida, and the Caribbean.
Angela Reynolds of Angela Reynolds Designs – Guest Bedroom
Angela Reynolds Designs has an international perspective that reflects its founder’s design approach. Both a classicist and a modernist, Angela Reynolds creates a feeling of luxury with subtle layers of texture, objects of art and furnishings from around the world. Reynolds graduated from the Inchbald School of Interior Design - one of England and Europe’s foremost design schools - after earning a BA in Art History from The American University.
In 2006, Reynolds opened Angela Reynolds Designs. She quickly landed one of the most sought after interior design projects on Jupiter Island – a 40,000 square foot ocean front estate. Reynolds continues to serve an international client base, but her primary focus is Palm Beach, Jupiter Island and Manhattan.
Melissa Ziober and Scotty Rawley of RZ Design Group – Kitchen
RZ Design Group unites the talents of two energetic Southerners, Scotty Rawley and Melissa Ziober, ASID. A full service Palm Beach interior design firm, RZ Design Group brings a creative sensibility to projects and is known for adding a modern twist to classic design. The goal is to create a beautiful environment that truly reflects the client’s individual style.
They are known for inspiring color schemes, visually stunning interiors, and an abundance of design ideas. In addition to residential work, the group has expertise with commercial projects where function meets an inviting atmosphere. As a bonus, RZ offers the services of an in house architect as well as developing an RZ furniture line.
Founded in 2007, RZ Design Group has worked on many projects and charities throughout Florida and the United States, including an NBA star’s residence and other high profile clients. Schooled at the Art Institute of Chicago and Ecole de Beaux Arts, Paris, with previous practices in Chicago and Louisville, National Award Winner Virginia Courtenay has brought to Delray Beach an understanding of design founded in a blend of cultures and environs through Virginia Courtenay Interiors since 1976.
Virginia Courtenay is an honored member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and served on the National Board and as President of the Florida Chapter. She is nationally recognized for the Wilsonart Residential Award and the Florida Governor’s Mansion Restoration. Her work has been published in: Architectural Digest, Interiors, Palm Beach Life, Palm Beach Illustrated and Boca Raton Magazine.
Hazel McGuire
Hazel McGuire has been with Virginia Courtenay Interiors since June 2004. Originally from Michigan, McGuire has been involved in the design arena since graduating from Wayne State University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. For over twenty years she was involved in corporate, banking, and healthcare design before refocusing on residential design and the joy of combining a hobby of antiquing and collecting with beautiful furnishings.
Scott Robertson
Scott Robertson, a member of the design team at Virginia Courtenay Interiors, Inc., recently completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, and became an allied member of ASID. He has a background in fine art and decorative painting as well as fifteen years of experience in Palm Beach working with some of the nation’s top designers.
Keith Williams of Mario Nievera Design Inc. - Front Entrance
Keith Williams joined Mario Nievera Design Inc. in 1998 and is now Partner and Vice President of the company. He has served as a Project Manager and Designer for several residential and commercial projects in New York, Texas, the Bahamas and Florida.
Mario Nievera Design Inc. is based in Palm Beach with an office in New York City and currently has projects underway in The Bahamas, Indian Creek, South Beach, Bal Harbor Miami, Windsor Vero Beach, the Hamptons, New York City and Palm Beach. Williams is currently working on the restoration of the Old Fischer Estate on Miami Beach as well as several commercial properties such as the DCOTA in South Florida.
This year’s dedicated committee includes Desmond and Cristina Keogh, General Chairmen; Charlotte Moss, Honorary Chairman; Stephen Mooney and Bill Kopp, Design Chairmen; Keith Williams, Landscape Chairman; Frank Maguire, Boutique Chairman ; Melinda Collie, Journal Chairman; and Sylvia James, Preview Party Chairman.
For over 90 years, the American Red Cross Greater Palm Beach Area Chapter, which includes Glades, Hendry, Okeechobee and Palm Beach Counties, has provided relief to victims of disasters at home and abroad, teaches lifesaving skills, and supports military members and families. Ticket Prices and Admission
General admission tickets to the Show House are $30. Special pricing is available for groups of ten or more. The Show House will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross Greater Palm Beach Area Chapter.
